Lynn is a writer and speaker, Christian life coach, and volunteer hospital chaplain. Other ministries in which she has been involved over the past 20 years include founder and executive director of a Christian singles ministry, women's ministry director, prayer group facilitator, and short-term missionary trips to Mexico and Africa. In addition to ministry, she has also been in the legal profession for nearly two decades and has several years’ administrative and office management experience.
Lynn has been writing for nearly 20 years, and her articles have been published in journals for leaders of Christian singles ministries, various denominational literature, and Sunday School curriculum. She has experience in inspirational, business, technical, research, and legal writing. Her research and interpretive essays have been integrated into classroom discussions by college professors and used for research purposes by students.
Her philosophy of life and ministry is to reach out to people at their point of need on a practical level as well as spiritual. Apostle Paul succinctly describeds her personal mission in his second letter to the Corinthian church:
“Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassions, and God of all encouragement; who encourages us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to encourage those who are in any tribulation whatever, through the encouragement with which we ourselves are encouraged of God. Because, even as the sufferings of the Christ abound towards us, so through the Christ does our encouragement also abound.” (2 Corinthians 1:3-5, Darby’s Translation)
Lynn is originally from California but has lived in the greater Nashville area since 1988. She is married and has two children: a son in college and a daughter in high school. In her leisure hours, she enjoys family and friends, reading, hiking, theater, art galleries, photography, and antiquing.
